Echt Eten has already won several prizes. It was nomimated for two categories for best Cookbook of the year 2013 in Holland and won the Public prize. It has also won the Gourmand World Cookbooks award 2013 in the Netherlands for best Chefs Book and Best vegetarian cookbook. In the National Dutch library you can find his book in the collection of Dutch Heritage.

Last Year his second book apearred, Echt Eten in France. In this book he visits friends who live in the countryside of France. He is inspired by them how they work close together with nature by permaculture, he visits farmersmarkets and neigbours and shares the best France recipes with you from France.
